Operation Smile Brings Smiles to Kids

Operation Smile is such an amazing charity. Operation Smile helps correct Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate in babies.  It’s a congenital birth defect that hinders baby’s ability to suck and eat and even speak. When the baby is in their mother’s womb, sometimes their mouths or lips do not form and there is a hole.  Babies born with Cleft Lip or Cleft Palate do not have the ability to smile. Parents are not able to see their baby’s first smile as other parents do.  1 in 10 children with Cleft Lip or Cleft Palate don’t get to celebrate their first birthday. It is incredibly sad, thankfully Operation Smile is there to save the day. Operation Smile goes to third world countries where doctors are not an option. It’s a really simple and inexpensive surgery that they just cannot afford. It’s roughly $240 per surgery, and while that doesn’t sound like much to us, in some countries it may as well be ten thousand dollars.  Babies with Cleft Palate or Cleft Lip will experience ear problems and dental problems too. Thankfully it is curable and they can live normal lives. 1 in 700 babies will have Cleft Lip or Cleft Palate. That is so heart breaking because so many babies won’t get surgery without Operation Smile. Operation Smile needs our help, it takes a village to help others.  There are many volunteers and doctors who volunteer their time to travel to third world countries to help these precious little babes.

Campus Book Rentals has teamed up with Operation Smile to help donate smiles. For every text book you rent, Campus Book Rentals donates to Operation Smile. I think that’s so wonderful. So, if you are in college or have a child in college, check out Campus Book Rentals and consider renting text books from them and help support Operation Smile.

Campus Book Rentals Helps College Students Save Big Bucks!

The Summer Semester is starting soon. Many college students are trying to get things in order and dreading paying for their books that they will use for only several months. Sure they can spend a fortune at the campus book store but who wants to do that? Those books will probably sit in a box for the next 15 years in someone’s garage anyways. Campus Book Rentals has the solution, they will rent you books for whatever class you need them for. You can save 40%-90% off bookstore prices. The selection is amazing. Seriously, you may think they wouldn’t have a book for that class but they do. I have a friend who is taking classes for something really specific, that is only offered at a select number of places, and Campus Book Rentals has books for her class.

It’s so great for the environment when you rent your textbooks instead of buying new.  You can even have flexible rental periods to make sure you have the book as long as you need.  Don’t worry about highlighting in the textbooks, it’s totally allowed. If you are just learning about Campus Book Rentals, have no fear, you can sell your old text books too. It would be a great way for college kids to make an easy buck, free up space and help others. So, if you took classes recently, dig out those old books, and check out Campus Book Rentals.  Campus Book Rentals offers Free Shipping both ways.
Campus Book Rentals also supports the amazing charity Operation Smile. Operation Smile helps babies and children with Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate get surgery and the treatment they need to suck, eat and speak and smile. Smiling is important. Just think if you couldn’t smile.  Operation Smile saves babies and children’s lives.

Campus Book Rentals features RentBack

This year Noah is in second grade, and this year I had to pay the dreaded book rental fees. This is a new concept to me but not for my mom. I had to pay over a hundred dollars for Noah's books. These books aren't to keep but for rent. He has to give them back!! It comes out to about $40 a book for a second grader. Either the books cost a fortune or I'm in the wrong business. I know that books are expensive especially when you are in college. Most college students buy their books. If you have to spend a lot of money on books that will make you pay more when you are paying off your student loans after graduation.

College students can pay thousands for the books their classes. Thankfully Campus Book Rentals has made the ability to rent books possible for college students. They have a huge selection so you should be able to find whatever you are looking for. The savings is amazing. What would you do with your old books anyways? Unless you are a doctor or scientist and you use your books as reference chances are they will live in a box in the garage. Using Campus Book Rentals is fast and easy. You skip the lines at the school bookstore.  Your books are shipped to your door. You save money so you can eat more than Ramen noodles. Campus Book Rentals also partners with Operation Smile who provide surgeries for children who have a cleft lip or a cleft palate.
Here are some more perks of using Campus Book Rentals:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
If you have textbooks laying around check out the RentBack Program. RentBack is new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own - to other students... which is awesome because it makes you 2-4x more money compared to what you'd make through buyback options! Buyback is selling their books back at the end of the semester.
